Dennis,

Thank you very much for responding to my email. I would also like to thank all those at Tippmann Inc for putting the health of the sport before opportunities for financial gain time and time again. It really means a lot to me that you would take the time to reply to me yourself, just when I was losing faith in the integrity of todays paintball industry. Thank you very much for your time and have a most blessed day.

Darin,

We never had the patent on the valve and adapter connection. We did have the patent on using the tank as the stock of the marker. We never enforced this patent because at the time using the large co2 tanks vs. the 12 gram cartridges was already a controversy. We felt if we did not enforce it the industry would go to the large tanks and this would be good for the industry as a hole. This seemed to work out as predicted.

Thanks,

Dennis Tippmann Jr.

Dennis Tippmann had the right idea. Now if only the Gardners had followed his example...

Hah. Yeah. Gardners.

I still think that the Pro-Lite and Pro-Carbine were the last great markers Tippmann built. The m98/98c and the A5/X7 are both good.. but I dislike the molded clamshel design that they moved to. And the Pro-Lite with a 12oz tank off the back with a butt-plate on it is a very comfortable shooting platform.
